Very nice page Gangolf, beautiful place! Canyon reminds me of Paklenica canyons on Velebit very much, which has been cut in limestone also. Colors are similar; depth is the same as in Velika Paklenica while narrowest places are similar to Mala Paklenica which is not as deep.

Thanks! You are right in a way. To me the mountains are even more alike. Wait, till I post Punta Ortu Camminu. It's on my list but has to wait a little. I decided to do another Dolomite Group page for a change and that takes me a little longer
...on the page, that from the parking place soon after Ponte S'abba Arva (bridge) you have to walk about 1 h 15 min to the gorge entry. (That surprised me, because I didn't have it in mind after reading your description.)
