one gondola change, and up the See Forever trail. With Rick, Mike, Brandon and Cindy. Nice half-day hike overview for someone totally unfamiliar with Telluride area (we departed for Salt Lake after the hike). Did the via ferrata on the day before; spent two nights at the Mary E campground.

Gold Hill
Left Franz Klammer Lodge Just before 7, was at St. Sophia Station by 7:20 and summit 9:50. Descended into Bear Creek and reached gondola at 1:40. There were many people on the trail although saw no one on the upper parts of Bear Creek Canyon.

many times skiingTelluride is "my" ski area, I get a pass every year, and skied from Gold Hill many times...
