GB and CH
Started from the WB I70 tunnel parking at 4: 40 am. Climbed Golden Bear then over to Coon Hill. The Hill's NE ridge was a bit of a challenge route-finding wise but not too bad. I wouldn't stay on the top of the ridge as it dips steeply down a few times. Good shelves to follow up. Sunny morning. Back to car by 9:40 am.

Golden Bear and Hagar
Started at Loveland, up "Golden Bear," over to Hagar, down Dry Gulch. Working on my mountain fitness after a sprained ankle.

Golden Bear
After getting a late start, Kimberly and I hiked Golden Bear Peak from the west side of Eisenhower Tunnel. It was a nice hike and we probably saw more marmots than on any other hike. We counted 20. We saw several pikas as well. The weather was great, but the skies were hazy.

Northeast Slopes
Second time up, ski descent via Dry Gulch with Rachael. Warm in the afternoon, the ski out was super sticky.

From the Tunnel
A great hike with Peakbug for my birthday. The weather was fantastic and we had many marmot sightings. I believe we saw a falcon as well - some bird of prey, anyway. Headed across the ridge to hit Coon Hill after summiting.

From Loveland Pass
We set up a car shuttle to enjoy two Loveland Pass 12ers (and then accidentally blew past one of them right out of the pass...) and this peak along with Coon Hill. Great day! Views from this peak are amazing.

winds of change
made the short hike onto the divide from the loveland ski area. a constant, brisk wind up high was our first strong signal that summer was rapidly coming to an end.
