Goosenecks Ala Mode!

Goosenecks Ala Mode!

Utah's paradox formation rises above the San Juan River like a chocolate layer cake. These "entrenched meanders" of the San Juan twist through rocks that are up to 300 million years old. Camping is allowed free of charge at the viewpoint, and although there are few facilities, this is a great place to spend the night. Visitors can park just a few feet away from the cliff edge and gaze down onto the river - 1,000 vertical feet below! April 26, 2009

It is so hard to capture all the turns of San Juan River. I love that place!

Re: goosenecks

Yes, my next camera will have a wide-angle lens!

I was always a big fan of rocks and water.
