That's a lot.....

.....of snow for August! And look at that old pack. Probably a "new" pack in 1965. Good shot!

Yeah, that is a great shot. Someday, I hope to survive long enough to be able climb mountains for almost 40 years! Pretty amazing.

Damn, the Grand was probably about a 1000 ft shorter then. Fred, you should see how much it's grown since then. :)

My first want for a summit was 1962

I wanted to climb Caslton Tower Moab after seeing it in a Natl. Geogr. mag,That is what got me motivated to start climbing . Did climb the Grand Teoton many times in the seventies and eighties
