Granite Peak from dirt roads to trailhead
Granite peak looms large from Hwy 447 and the dirt approach roads. The SW Ridge route runs from the lower right of the picture. There are some good class three sections on this route. As of Jan 18, 2007 all dirt portions of the road were in good shape.
