Granite Peak West Ridge

From the canyon below the traverse from Rabbit Peak to Granite Mountain looks like an awful bushwhack through chaparral. But as this view from Rabbit Peak shows, the ridge itself is actually fairly open. A use trail weaves its way through the worst of it. Wear long pants. October 29, 2006.
