Grass BM
I followed a major dirt road from the Puddle Valley highway (it appears to be the Lowland Cutoff Rd) looking at my atlas to what appears to be the Puddle Valley Well Road. I followed this road as it paralleled the range until I was more or less lined up with Grass BM. I had to hike a little over a mile to get to the base of the range and then close to two miles from there to the top. The views looking back over Puddle Valley towards the Lakeside Mountains were awesome as the whole valley was socked in fog and haze and all the surounding ranges just appeared to be floating in the mist. On my decent I picked a different ridge to hike down to keep it interesting. Nice hike. #60/100 Utah top 100 prominence peaks for me.

Eric's way
After reading harbor's report on Eric's road, I was a bit apprehensive, but we had no problem whatsoever in a 2 door Jeep Wrangler Sport. However, the short little turnoff that Eric tells you to take is marked "no vehicles" (as was every other side road) so we parked on the main dirt road. We also did 6420, 6382, Cobble Hill, and 5777. There were beautiful views all around. There was about 2" of snow.
Attempted to go up the ATV trail that comes in from the south of the Grassy Mts. It is super rutted out / washed out in a lot of places and only made it up a mile or so. I hiked up a ridge and traversed it over to where the ATV trail tops-out at ~6200 ft. Then dropped down into a small canyon and came out on the ridge to the north of the high point. Up to the high-point and back down to the ATV trail. Followed the trail back to my truck.
If you plan on doing the route described by Eric then you need to be in an ATV. As of Apr. 2014 this road is probably not passable by passenger vehicle. MAYBE a really small 4-wheel drive jeep or something. I couldn't make it in my F-250 with very high clearance. A few places that were way to washed out.
It ended up being a 10 miles hike. Way more than I was expecting to do today. Still, very enjoyable and pleasant spring day. The blimp that was mentioned in someone's post was docked at a "hangar?" to the west and was visible from the high point.
Went back out the following day to do a little more hiking / botanizing and hike cobble hill to the south of the canyon that enters the south end of the Grassy Mts. Very nice little hike.

I liked this mountain. There was snow on its shaded slopes and ice on the road approaching it. I also saw two drone blimps in the area.

A great hike with a tour guide no less. Mike was kind enough to repeat Grassy Mountain for both Kadee and I. With over 1900 feet of prominence, Grassy was high on my to do list and to get it with some snow on it was extra special.

This was a great hike, I have spent many years on this mountain but for other reasons than to hike. I hiked this peak by myself and then 10 days later hiked it again with my two great friends Kadee and Dean. Both times were fantastic.
