The morning started out pretty interesting. I and Randy arrived at the TH around 4:00am and didn't realize until we started to leave the car neither one of us brought a flashlight.
We made it up however. Weather turned frighfully cold that afternoon. Saw some sheep and summited Torries also.

Full Moon Hike, summit at 2.30am, my second time up this peak. The first was in June of 2003 via Chihuahua Gulch when I lived in Chicago (then my first 14er!)

After spending a beautiful morning on Torreys, this summit felt a little crowded as I clinched a rock and claimed it, cause it seemed that there was not enough space for all of us. Ton of people, and a bunch of bozos with a satellite radio trying to setup a transmitter provided minutes of entertainment. I quickly departed for my next summit....

1st 14er for my son Chris and I. Beautiful day. Lots of people! Ran into Tom Strickland on our way down. Decided to never again do a 14er, up and back in 1 day-must aclimatize!

My first 14`er. Easier than I thought it would be. Summited under clear skies. Beatiful day. Coming back next year to go for Mount elbert. Can`t wait!!

Route Climbed: Standard Date Climbed: 6/22/02This was my 2nd 14er. A nice hike up to Grays then over to Torreys. Pictures sucked due to haziness caused by the wildfires that summer.

Route Climbed: Grays Peak Trail Date Climbed: Oct 1, 2004Climbed after work at 7pm. Unbelievable with a full moon. Watch out for grouchy goats. This was my 2nd ascent of Grays.

Route Climbed: Grays Peak Trail Date Climbed: October 8, 2005There was a bit of snow but passable without gear. There was a dump the next day. 2:45 up. 1:00 to cross the saddle to Torreys, 2:00 down from there.
