Great Burnet
Great Burnet (Sanguisorba officinalis) grows in all Polish mountain meadows up to the elevation of 1200 meters. It blooms from June to September. Its root has medicinal properties and can be used to stop bleeding. Young leaves and shoots can be added to salads.
