This was my first route in Index. After 3 months in Asia, it was a nice welcome home.
Great climb that reminded me of North Ingalls. Nice cracks on the second pitch.
I was new to climbing so I ended up getting a bloody blister, but had a fun time.
One one of the pitches was worth the while. It was splitter though.
Fun route - stellar cracks, with great views. Scrambled up to the large anchors at the base of the second pitch, and then climbed to the next set of anchors. At one point, there were five different ropes near the P2 anchors - a bit of a zoo, but all good.
Lots of pitches this day. Great times! Excellent area to practice your technique. Gear and Climbing.
Good beginner lead for Index. Very easy climbing and easy gear placements.
Started w/ Sickle Crack, moved up underneath roof, then up Pisces (aka Libra). Smearing.
