Damn, this thing is beautiful, Tim. Got to make my way to Baffin Island someday, and hopefully to Ellesmere to!
Thanks for the vote.
Wow! Cool place. Well done page.
Great Page Tim. You have done some great work researching and posting these mountains. I would love to visit this area sometime, but it doesnt seem like my boyfriend wants to go ;) Cheers!
Thnaks for the vote... have you really talked to your bf about this... you might have misunderstood him. :) :)
Of course he doesn't want to go...it's to damn cold!
These peaks don't look real. They look like something out of a storybook or fantasy novel. The first time I saw photos of Mt. Thor, I thought that it was a computer construct.
If this is last from Baffin I hope it is not last from such remote areas of Canada. This was fantastic series and this page is no exception Tim!!
Don't let Gangolf drag you to Dolomites. Velebit is better :-) It is like I would choose mega popular Banff instead of Great Sail Peak :-) Both are great but it is better to explore something not many see
I think both Velebit and the Dolomites are in order... and no I still plan to put up pages from more of Canada's remote northern regions... just for the time being I need a break from all of the postings that I have done. Thnaks a lot Velebit for the votes and kind word... I appreciate them.
Yes, sometimes I need to rest from posting too. Well, not so much from posting but more from writing. Visiting both is great. There are so many fantastic things I would recommend in the neighborhood but life is too short. If you ever decide to come to Velebit we could meet, except if you want to be alone. I'd be glad to meet you and do some nice trip on Velebit. Cheers, Aleksandar
I'd be happy to have you show me the wonders of Velebit... its clearly an amazing place.
Very nice photos, excellent page.
Thanks a lot.
Beautiful inlet with impressive walls. I thought it was Sam Fjord until I read more closely. Remarkable peaks and a great addition to SP.
Its on a side arm of Sam Ford... maybe 5-7km away from Polar Sun Spire. Thanks a lot for the vote.
Thanks for the vote
I've been very fortunate to have spent nearly 5 months in somewhat remote and wild regions of the Nepal Himalaya. But my jaw still drops when I see this stuff you are posting. Awesome! Great pages and photos.
Thanks a lot Nelson... those are powerful words. I hope to one day spend many months myself in the Himalaya and of course up in Sam Ford so I can appreciate the beauty of both places. Cheers -Tim-
Another excellent page!
