Part of new link-up. Soloed Regency, Royal Arch. Climbed P1-5 on the Fifth's North Side and soloed P6. Soloed P1-2 on the Fist and climbed P3. Scrambled over East Green and Greenmans to Green Mtn. Then back down to NCAR via Green-Bear. Fabulous Flatiron adventure!

Family time
I took my son for this easy hike, i couldn't believe it was 26th december, weather was just great. All i can say is : I LOVE COLORADO!
Climbed all three of these peaks routinely while training for the San Juan Solstice 50 miler (aka Lake City 50).

4th flatiron
Scrambled on up after climbing the 4th flatiron. I probably should have obtained an "off-trail permit" to do this. Oh, well...

West Ridge
Relaxing and enjoyable hike before meeting our friends (Aron, Bryan, Jason, Ram, Judy, Aaron and Amy) for Aron's movie in Boulder. A nice, long get-away weekend.
I never post pbrs, I regularly car to car green in less than 1 hour 15 minutes, one guy I know in Boulder does it in around 55 minutes. Too many speed freaks in the region.

Easy summit from Realization
Easy hike up Greenman from the Realization Pt trailhead on Flagstaff. Returned on Ranger. Trail is 95% packed snow and ice so bring traction or your luge sled.

Parked at NCAR and hiked up Bear Canyon. Packed snow on trail. Wore YakTrax on the descent. Recommend poles.

West Ridge
In an effort to test out my sore knee, I headed up the West Ridge trail to the Green's summit. Relatively short hike of only 1.2 miles from trailhead to summit. Lots of Lady Bugs near the summit. The summit was getting buzzed occassionally by a glider. Second summit of Green.

green mtnUp saddle rock -> greenman. Down ranger trail -> gregory canyon. Some slippery spots -- should have brought the yak-trax! 2:38 car to car.
