Skinny bear

That sure is a thin bear. Was this taken in the spring? More than like a sub-adult?

Yeah I know, very thin. It was actually taken in early July, but the salmon hadn't run yet so they were feeding on vegetation and hanging around the river waiting for the fish. And yeah, I think this cub was just over a year old, so it was still pretty young.
