Große Reibn: Loferer Seilergraben

Große Reibn: Loferer Seilergraben

The last downhill challenge is Loferer Seilergraben, a narrow and steep gully which gets steeper and steeper .... until you reach endless Wimbachgries valley, normally without snow in May. So you put your skis on your back and march on for 1,5 hours ...... But thank god there is a mountain hut halfway through where you can get some good beer.

Very attractive

I like your logistic advices :)
By the way - why not attaching this picture somewhere - to Loferer group, for example. So it will get attention also in future.

Re: Very attractive

Thanks for your comment.
I´m thinking about doing some more about the Berchtesgadener Alps at SummitPost in the future - hoping that this attractive region will get more attention at Summit Post.
By the way: Loferer Seilergraben does not belong to the Loferer group - it is part of the Berchtesgadener Alps.
