Gun Rack is a fun 2 pitch climb on Clem's Holler area in Tumwater Canyon. The first pitch features a large double roof that must be overcome, while the second pitch features some slab / face and a short section of crack.
From Leavenworth, drive west down highway 2 for .6 miles past the junction and park in the pullout on the south side of the street. Find the trail about 100 feet west of here and follow it steeply up the hillside for 20 minutes to the base of the crag. Gun Rack starts on the left side of this formation directly under the big double roof.
- 5.9 - Climb up the face towards the roof then power directly over both roofs with nice big holds. Exit onto the slab above and belay at the station. This pitch is pumpy. 95 feet
- 5.7 - Climb up the thin face / slab then directly over an overlap. Exit up and to the right. Pull over the bulge then jamb the fingercrack up and left to the belay station. 95 feet
- 2 single or 1 double rope rappel will get you to the ground.
A couple finger sized cams.
60 meter rope
