It is a deceptive mountain. I did Craner Peak yesterday morning (180 miles roundtrip) and dodged three snakes, once of which didn't like getting stuck accidentally with my trekking pole. It was a rattler and he let me know his displeasure. Yikes.

Craner misses being a p2k by 5 feet.
