A true

spectacle of rock. If there
was a person standing next
to it, then I could percieve
the scale more accurately.
I am assuming it is a very
large chunk of rock!

It is one of the smaller Dolomite mountains, from where the photo was taken, and to the summit the difference in height is a little over 1000 ft. So a person standing right up to the rock face would be quite small (usually there will be people, but the weather was very cold and windy).

By the way, on the left, and highest summit you can just see a Madonna statue (in half life size) in "orig", also giving an indication of the size of the mountain!
