ISO / shutter speed

I am curious about the 1/2500s shutter and ISO 800. Would it be a problem for subject movement or camera shake to shoot at 1/320 and ISO 100 or 1/640 and ISO 200, instead? Or did you already have the ISO at 800 before you saw the bird?

Re: ISO / shutter speed

It was cloudy at the time and I wanted to be sure to have a sharp image with my long lens.
ISO 400 would have been enough for sure. But with a fast moving animal, you don't want to miss your chance for an ISO matter. Thanks for your interest !

Just amazing

The feeling of being in a place where you could even get that kind of shot is what makes me love climbing. So incredible that you were able to get such a clear photo of one of these giants in flight. Fantastic work!
