Amazing

Fantastic set of shots from Iceland Brian including this one, of course! Can't believe the mix of colors terrain has there, great work to capture it right way!

Beutiful colors

Probably typical of Iceland as I remember going to an exhibition a year ago and coming away with a similar feeling - browns and greens and yellows and blacks. Well, probably not yellows.

Well, the exhibition was _about_ Iceland and not _in_ Iceland :-( Hope to go there one day though.

Oh, bummer. I would suggest going in July or August. Outside of that and it might be kind of cold and dark.

Great pic Brian! Am i right that this is in or near the Landmannalaugar-area?!

Yes, you are corect. This was in Landmannalaugar Park just west of the main campground maybe a few kilometers. If you hike up west from the campground away from the river there, you climb over a lava wall into this valley. Was a great place and I hope to go back in the next couple of years as well.

Ha ha. Thanks for the vote! Don't know what those flowers were, I called them Dr. Seuss flowers as they look like the hair on his cartoon characters.
