MemoriesMy best Army buddy's mom lived in Oak Creek, CO and in June 1989, we took leave and spent two weeks with her. During that visit, we climbed Hahns Peak and have pictures of us actually standing on top of the lookout, trying to get as high as possible. I remember being totally amazed that there was still snow on the ground at the end of June! We don't get much snow in Louisiana! Great times!! Hope to hike with my 11 yo son up there one day while I'm still able.
