Yeah man!

It really was awesome!. i did Half Dome a few years ago and it is a more fun climb. But
the views from clouds rest were just amazing! seeing Half Dome from this perspective gives it an entirely different feel. also This Photo was taken just a few steps away, and there was alot more. the glaciers best artists were at work here!

Your photos of the Olympic Mtns. are off the wall too? i never knew there was such beauty there and will be planning a visit some time in the future.

Re: wow!!!

Thanks Matt!
This view to me is one of the best perspectives of Half Dome, I too was very surprised when I reached the summit of Cloud's Rest to see this!

The valley . . .

seems so far below. I think I got a little nervous just looking at the picture. Nice!

Clouds Rest

This was my first peak on my first trip to the mountains in'93. Great to see that jaw dropping view again!

Re: Clouds Rest

You are lucky to have these things in your backyard. This view is one of my all time summit fav's, in all directions! The shape of Half Dome to me is one of the most beautiful rocks ever.

Yeah! we are about directly across from each other in our photo's of Half dome, although yours has the better lighting and clarity.

Stupendous

Half Dome never fails to be so emotive. So far, I made the top of the Dome, but this a view that I must see for real.

Also a great perspective on the U-shaped Valley caused by former glaciation.
