Re: Wow!!!

Yes, it really does portray its enormous size quite well!

Really good one

Yes! Really portrays Half Dome's massive form, and implies the big, but unseen, drop into Tenaya Canyon...

Re: where from?

Oh man, now you want me to remember where I took a picture from 6 weeks ago? :- ) As best as I can remember it was from either the pullout at Olmstead Point or from the top of a little dome I scrambled to across the road from the pullout (where I saw all the naked people). Or it could have been while hiking up that same dome. It's just a few miles west from Tenaya Lake on a sharp right turn in the road as you head towards the Valley. There's a sign that identifies it and usually loads of tourons.

Re: where from?

So let me get this straight: you were on top of a dome, with a camera, and nakie people below, and you chose to take a picture of some mountain instead?

What were you thinking?

Re: where from?

David's got a point...wasn't there a way you could've possibly incorporated the nudity into the shot somehow? The picture is nearly perfect but a little skin in there would've taken it that extra step in the right direction :).

Re: where from?

Ha ha. The naked people came up about 5 minutes later. As I sat there, I tried to maneuver my camera correctly to "accidentally" get a young woman in the frame but it rapidly became really obvious and I looked cheesy so I gave up. Promise I'll do better next time though!
