Hard work on Badger Mtn

Putting a trail in is indeed hard work. Jim catches a breather after using a pick-mattock in the heat of the day. This was on the Skyline trail, a 2.2 mile effort of trail building. After the trail was dug out of the hillside, buckets and buckets of gravel improved and consolidated the tread and helped to protect the newly formed trail from erosion from the elements and the hikers, bikers and horse riders yet to come.
