Harsh Conditions

Pine Island Ledge view in the winter is seen here. My brother and I visited this area on one of the coldest days of the year. Temperatures were barely reaching 10 degrees with the wind chill well below 0. While at views looking in this direction the wind would blow directly at at you and to stop and take in the view was impossible. My brother and I each pulled out our cameras long enough to snap a couple of pictures and keep moving down the ridge to a less exposed area. (December 22, 2008)
