Topped out in solid cloud, eventually could see Goat Lake below, but not much else.
did this one late at night.
Amazing panorama from the summit, and a great trail up! Trip report here.
Caught this peak on a nice day while taking the loop. Great views of Rainier and Adams. Unfortunately the weather turned rainy the next day so decided to get Old Snowy next time around.
Straight XC up from Goat Lake, steep. Returned in dark on trail.
A traverse to Johnson is possible from here across the basin.
Up Snowgrass, down Berry, 10.5 hours car to car.
Did this while grabbing several peaks in the Goat Rocks. Trail up south ridge. Loop trip http://www.willhiteweb.com/washington/goat_rocks_climbing/ives_hawkeye_227.htm
I've been up on this one a few times. Probably my favorite view in the Goat Rocks. There is a little snowfield just below the summit that can be tricky at times, but it isn't exposed and it's usually easy to kick steps.
