Re: Too soonit IS too soon! i worked this summer as a ranger (my first summer here since 2003, year the fires squelched most of my hiking trips) and i am leaving montana on saturday. this week i had planned to do mahtapi, GTTS, bearhat, goat mountain, piegan, pollock, triple divide, razorback--or at least some of them...but instead did haystack butte, and got snowed out yesterday and today (i couldn't even make it up to the summit of cataract today!). ah well--plans for the future!

Re: Too soonthere was a ton of snow up on logan pass today--hard to say how much, but several inches must still be up there. i'm guessing tomorrow (if the forecast is right) will melt quite a lot off!
