Heading back towards the snow chute
Above the Josephine Mine, the South Ramp Route on Grinnell Point is interspersed with scree fields, rocky ledges and numerous cliffs of varying difficulty. The route does a bit of zig-zagging back and forth between the steep snow chute (visible in the background) and towering cliffs (right), but with care in route finding, nothing harder than Class III need be climbed.
