Headwall of Pańszczyca Valley

Headwall of Pańszczyca Valley

Along this ridge, separating the Dolina (Valley) Pańszczyca to the north from the Dolinka (Little Valley) Buczynowa to the south, runs the eastern section of the Orla Perć (Eagle Path), which climbs three of the major peaks: Mała Buczynowa Turnia (2,172m), Orla Baszta (2,157m; the waymarked path passes within several metres from the summit) and Skrajny Granat (2,225m). Until 1932 the trail scaled Wielka Buczynowa Turnia (2,184m) too, but now it traverses the south (i.e. the other, invisible) side of the mountain a long way away from its summit.
