..omg..

this photo makes me feel like an IDIOT. i had NO idea you could see heaven's peak from the opposite shoreline!! everyone stays on that one side!!

looking toward the shoreline from where the photo is taken--did you go to the left or the right to get there?? i'm guessing you went left. i went to the right with a hiking buddy in 07 and the trail dead ended. bah!

I did the entire loop around the lake in May. We ended up wading through deep water to cross the outlet. And that while dark was fast approaching, a black bear was in the area, and a random tourist was stakerishly photographing us.
