Re: Finally....

Glad I could help. This is one of my climbing partners working some mad skills of the route. Way to go Ben!

solid or portable?

While obviously exposed, this definitely looks doable... provided the holds stay on the mountain. How solid is this? Props on the nice photo, & your partner for pulling it.

Portable or Solid

I see from your page that you climb a lot. Our rock here is sedimentary and quite unstable compared to granite etc. However there are some routes that have very good rock here as well. This route is the former. We use the same practices others use and and always try to have at least 3 points of contact with the rock as we climb. This particular wall is the same. We have experience climbing in these conditions and feel comfortable with rock that others may feel uncomfortable with. I would recommend a rope and climbing gear for climbers who have never climbed in Glacier. Please refer to Fred Spicker's exellent article at the following SummitPost address. http://www.summitpost.org/fact-sheet/174579/glacier-national-park-rock-and-grading-systems.html

Re: Thanks

Re: Thanks

Thinking about it. I'll be in the park this summer and have done many peaks around the logan pass area, just not heavy runner and clements.
