Most can do Shasta in a day, but I highly suggest doing it in two. How often do we get the chance to sleep above 10,000'. We have the gear, let's use it.

Agree

The same thing can be said about Mt. Adams. I enjoy the snow camping and find it more enjoyable to climb in two days as it is a more relaxed approach.
