Interesting colors...Must be oxide stains and exuding rank copper, if I'm saying that right. Look toxic, but intriguing nonetheless. Similar to anything you saw or smelled on Ojos?

Re: Interesting colors...Good question! Actually most of the rock on Ojos was pumice. The whole area is surrounded by pumice and when the wind blows, it shakes up this fine white dust.

AditA shaft is a vertical mine entrance opening at the surface.
A horizontal mine opening is an adit.
