Wow

Really fascinating article. I've seen the picture of Russel in the sleeping bag, but I didn't know who he was. What a strange guy, but it's easy to feel kinship with him because he liked mountains so much. Thank you for writing it down!

Thanks ! Yes, Russell was really unique. I recommend you the reading of his "souvenirs of a mountaineer" if it's available in spanish. Lots of delicious accounts of his adventures in the spanish Pyrenees during these early times.
