"Hourglass Gully"

right there in the center - doesn't it look good if you imagine some snow on it? Haven't seen a better shot of this slope yet!

Re:

Thanks, I knew that you would appreciate this shot. I thought of you and your hourglass plan when I posted it.

Re: Re:

I've seen quite a few MOCKBA's pix of the area but they were never this green! :)

I can see the hourglass ..

Can you imagine? What is the highest ranked
peak for "glissade action" in UT? Would that
be the east face of Timp? Nice shot, Z-J !!

Re: I can see the hourglass ..

Thanks Larry! I don't know what the best glissade in Utah is, but I think this one would be pretty fast.

Right on, but I see Dmitry's point. Nice
picture, J.

I just noticed a few snow patches along the

Re: Beautiful area

I moved to Utah about 20 years ago from the northeast. At first I missed the dense forests, but now I love it here.

Re: Utah; on my list now

Thanks! I wasn't familiar with that term until a few weeks ago when I saw the movie "The Bucket List".

Great Shot

This is a really neat perspective of Kings and some of the surrounding peaks. Always wondered what the view would look like from some of the other peaks while we were hiking up Henry's Fork. Thanks for sharing this one!

Re: Great Shot

Thanks! I like climbing the less well known peaks because of the interesting and unusual views you get.
