yup!

Can't believe we missed it while going back and forth on both banks of the lake! Great job!

A little snow

But it's better than the heavy rain in the victim's camera

Lat/Lon

I don't know if anyone can verify the photo. The location is somewhere in Uzbekistan.

42.58400°N / 59.06700°E

Re: Lat/Lon

Well it's easy to prove that it's taken at the West end of Hidden Lake, just go there and take a look. The coordinates are obviously incorrect, but many SummitPost objects have incorrect coordinates. It takes some experievce and some effort to do the lat / lon right on this site.

Re: Lat/Lon

Dmitry, I would love to go take a look if I could, but I'm more than a thousand miles from home.

Hidden Lake

well anyway it's too snowed in already to be easy to recognize. Till next summer I guess...

Location

I wonder what the GPS coordinates are for this picture, since the listed coordinates are across the world? It's on the west side of the lake? Is it just at a stream?

GPS coordinates

For those wondering about the GPS coordinates, I just hiked there two days ago, Monday, and took pictures myself and coordinates. It's N 40.70971° W 110.9853°. I posted one of my pictures of this lake here http://www.summitpost.org/western-hidden-lake-uintas/815122 as a way to supplement filwould's photo, to give an additional view of it without the snow. I also have a video of it which could show those who haven't actually been there more about it and what it's like when walking forward. However, I'm new to summitpost and don't know if you can post videos?
