NICE.

Been waiting to see this (or these) added. I keep thinking about a high traverse in the Wallowas starting with Mt. Howard then on to East/Hidden, on to Aneroid, Petes Point and Bonnaville....doable?

thanks for adding these beauties.

The trip you propose sounds like a lot. Sure its doable, but I would have to camp and do it in two or three days. Thats because I like to go slow and look at the plants and rocks and stuff. Maybe some geared up power hiker coujld do it in one day, but it would be real tough. I have never been on Bonnneville, but I think the north extension of it is quite rugged. Were you thinking one day? I think somewhere I saw someone mention they actually did this hike, but I don't know how long they took. Maybe it was on the summit log for Aneroid.

Yes, check rbolton's comments on the summit log of Aneroid. Looks like they made a couple attempts and broke it up a bit, but are familiar with what it takes.

Another great Wallowa page from you. A page of Klenke'esque proportions. Good to hear a little about the rock composition.
