High Point from the East

This is the ridge highpoint from the lower slopes of the eastern point. The much higher ridge in the background is the Salmon/Snake divide; legal access is limited to this ridge at this time. Note the ligher covered grass (introduced weedy species), cow trails and erosion. All these are indicative of the heavy grazing in the area despite there being no legal range allotment. July 2005
