High Shoals Falls, NC
This surprisingly large group of falls is located in South Mountains State Park south of Morganton. The mile hike up is nice although steep and rugged at the falls. This set of falls is one of the lowermost drops, located just above where the trail crosses the creek on a nice boardwalk.
