Normal Route from M. Busch hut
Better than the crowded route to Similaun. We had the hole valley for ourself. The north face wasnt in conditions (very dangerous) because of very high temperatures. Strong Fohnwind blowing. Therefor we didn't cross the Marzell and Similaun...
Such a beautiful glacier tour over the Marzell glacier. Not too difficult, but almost competely alone and no 'trail' through the snow.

Skitouring from Vent
Skitouring from Vent, via Martin Busch hutte. The worst part is the icy traverse between Vent and hutte. Then it is a guiet glacier hike almost to the top with skis.
Route Climbed: north ridge Date Climbed: July 14th 1990
beautiful climb with good conditions on a lonely route. The north ridge was easier than expected with only few ice. I guess now - 12 years later - there is no ice left on it.

north faceGreat conditions. Climbed it with Christoph Wunderlich. No need for a rope, but a bad snowstorm on the summit.

Nice ice climbing in perfect conditions with a great view on the top, you've got to love it!
