Hoback Peak

Near the summit along the northeast ridge. Neither peak visible here is the true summit. The true summit is a short, easy walk away from behind the peak on the right. Notice the reddish "stains" on the snow. No, there was not a massacre here. This is from the red soil that is abundant here and in much of the rest of the Wyoming Range. Wyoming Range, WY-- July 2009
