This is a nice view from high on the West-Ridge looking back down into the basin. The Normal Route crosses this glacial basin before zig-zagging up to meet the West-Ridge Route. (The zig-zags visible on the morain simply lead to the small lake, they are not part of either Hohe Geige route.)
