The first time was my very first real backpacking trip about 10 years ago. Camped at Necklace Lakes and caught fish. Second time was a few years later to kick off a 5 day backpack in May from Holland Lake to Hungry Horse. We were green and underprepared, but it was a lot of fun and we learned a lot.
