Loving the fall photography lately. Great capture to say the least.
Thanks, yes it was easy to shoot photos in such a setting. Amazing views in all directions.
love it :) Cheers, Guido
Thanks Guido, well it was an action to get through there...:)
he was climbing the wall but it's actually like a class 3-4 traverse with big air.
Great waterfall back there.
I suppose you could put this one in the Trail shots collected album too! :D
Thanks, no climbing, only traversing on iron footsteps - but there were long distances in between. I think it was more difficult than class 3. Some sections you had to lower yourself, and drop your foot about 3 feet (very hard on short people).
Both on the fantastic page you created upon this via ferrata and upon your very adventurous-looking Photo of the Day!
Thank you and I am sorry for stealing POTD from you...
It's all good, I gave up on Photo of the Day because I never win it anymore. I guess I better upgrade my camera one of these days! :-D
Anyways, great photo!
Beautiful picture, amazing boots ...
Thanks, it was easy to shoot photos on this via ferrata. Beautiful views in all directions.
Shoes? well, we all had keens, and it worked really well. There are long hiking sections in between, and rock shoes are not necessary.
thank you so much for visiting, the route was sweet too. :)
Thanks for visiting.
Nice to see that this one of yours made Photo of the Week!
As I told you in a previous comment, I was very much as if living it myself when I read your article upon Telluride's Via Ferrata - the whole feeling of it, even the slightly overcast weather, aroused so many personal memories of mine!
You must have quite a POTW collection - how many did you make so far?
Thanks Eric. Again, sorry for stealing this from you... POTW - I don't know. I just like taking pictures and sharing.
That's a good spirit, Liba! :-) Don't worry about the POTD...anyway, my other photo of the Untersberg window made it - to be honest, I never had expected that!
The older and more mature I grow on SP, the less I care about POTD, POTW, POTM, POTY, POTC, Photo of the Millenium or whatever. The most important thing for me is the sharing aspect - being interested in and appreciative of what the others have contributed - and also being appreciated. For this, I don't need POTD...
nice shot too Liba!
