Hornfeldspitze

Overview

It is not important, but very easy accessible summit in Niederle Tauern. Starting Point - Solkpass - 1790 m, so it is only about 500 meters of height difference. Summit is rarely visited, so often we can enjoy panorama in silence. From pass to summit - about 1,5 - 2 hours of easy hike. We have view to mountain lakes: Kaltenbachseen, Solktal and gently ridges of Niederle Tauern.

Getting There

You must reach Solpass
- from south - route 76 via Murrau, towards Schoder, and from there to Solkpass
- from north - route e 651, in Grombing turn to route - Solktal and Solkpass
