Nice place!  Sucess!

My cousin lives in Fort Collins. Went with a friend and took our bikes, great trails! It was rainy so I did not get the views :(

Many times from 1991-1998  Sucess!

Hiked, camped, ran and mountain biked pretty much every trail in Horsetooth Mountain Park and climbed all three parts of Horsetooth Rock. The middle portion was the best! Climbed Horsetooth Falls as well. An absolutely wonderful area.

Climbed many times  Sucess!

Have climbed many times since moving to Fort Collins. It is a nice place and the falls are cool to sit under after a good summer hike.

Route: Soderberg Trail  Sucess!

Climbed it many times, I like it best in winter when the crowds are down. Try returning via the Wathen Trail for a good loop hike.

Route Climbed: Soderberg Tr. to S. Summit Date Climbed: November 13, 2005  Sucess!

A nice walk and scramble to the summit. Both Longs and Pikes were visible, although there was much cloud cover over both. I only saw 4 people on the way up, but many on the way down. A good morning hike before football starts!

Hiked this easy one with friends- it was HOT! Yep, after being used to snow hikes, this was odd, but enjoyable with friends. Watch out for the rattlers!

This was one of my first hikes that really put me on top of something, so was a bit of an inspiration.

I did this really long ago and thought it more a hike than a summit per se., but since it's here, I'll sign the log.

Route Climbed: Assorted Date Climbed: Lots of times, 1978-2002  Sucess!

A great place for a hike, especially spring and fall. Lots of wildlife, great birding, flowers. There are even some rocks to clamber around! One of the best little mountains around.

My favorite: hike down to Horsetooth Falls, then over to the Wathen Trail, and up to the rock. This is longer, less crowded, and provides better views of the Horsetooth than the standard trail. Descend the standard route for the perfect half-day hike.

Date Climbed: November 25, 2001  Sucess!

My wife, dog, and I hiked to the summit in very unusual weather. There was thick fog/clouds swirling around the summit and visibility was not much more than 10 meters. It was very surreal and not a little freaky to not be able to see the surrounding terrain. It was like we were floating in the sky.
