Beautiful and dangerous  Sucess!

Round trip hike from Falcon campground to Tanriverdi Falls and back. Used no ropes and no rappels. A lot of poison oak that could not be avoided. Tough route finding and hellish brush. Probably better for canyoneers than hikers. Roughed me up a bit.

An awesome first rappelling experience. The canyon was very dry, some sections would clearly be much more difficult during a wetter period. The hike out is a bear. Poison oak was unavoidable. I really wanted the hike to be over about six hours before it actually was.

This is in Orange County??  Sucess!

I was blown away by the quality of canyon and it's in the "OC?". Just be sure to go after a good rain.
