This is the third of a series of pictures taken to illustrate the rapidity of arrival of a major storm over Mt. Blanc.
Again at 14:50, this is the sky more or less in the opposite direction. It shows nicely how the bad weather ALWAYS comes from west in this area. The peak in the foreground is Mt. Chetif, the mountain that dominates Courmayeur.
