How a Storm Comes to Mt. Blanc (pic 7)

This is the seventh (and last) of a series of pictures taken to illustrate the rapidity of arrival of a major storm over Mt. Blanc. Two hours later, at 17:37, the worst of the storm had passed, and over Courmayeur there was a bit of sun. The Mt. Blanc was, however, still completely covered by clouds, and only the Aiguille Noire was barely visible behind the Chetif. By late evening the sky was clearing rapidly over the Italian side, but high on Mt. Blanc the storm continued unabated.
