Nice late season hike
Beautiful day summiting Huayna Picchu and Huchuy Picchu on Nov 28, 2015. Huchuy has great close up views of both Machu Picchu city and Huayna Picchu!

An enjoyable side trip on the way down from Huayna Picchu. We had this one entirely to ourselves. Note that this summit is past the gate for entrance to Huayna Picchu so you need a Huayna Picchu permit to gain access.

Easy Grade 2 climb. Summit is at 8298 feet by Garmin GPS.

Short little side trip coming down from Huayna Picchu. Lots of people on the trail to Huayna, yet nobody on Huchuy, which was nice. Great close up views of Machu Picchu.
